Our Pledge:
Tutors are an essential part of our company's success as a provider of educational support services in the City of Philadelphia and remotely in other areas beyond the city.
We hire and develop only the best instructors who can deliver the promise we have made to individual families "achievement beyond the students' current level of performance."
Prospective Employees/Consultants
There are several classifications for tutoring or teaching positions. Typically, the tutoring positions are part-time temporary assignments. Individuals that have a flexible work schedule are hired as Independent Consultants (1099).
Tutors will work with one or more clients for 1 - 2 hours per week. Group tutoring sessions range from 2 - 15 students for 2 to 4 hours a week.
Tutoring assignments are carefully matched to tutors to insure that students can effectively work with the individual to reach the desired goal. Academic support provided by our agency is consistent with the needs of the student and carefully aligned with the tutor's skills and time availability to produce the best results intended for the family.
Consultants interested in college coaching should contact our office for details on working with clients to complete their college applications and test prep for entrance exams.

What are the qualifications to join the staff?
We recruit and hire individuals throughout the year for special projects, private tutorials and SAT/ACT and PSAT prep classes. All tutors, instructors and educational consultants must possess college credentials and qualifying work experiences that are evidence of skills and knowledge to teach specific subjects or to use specific and ethical techniques for successful college admission.
Our highest demand for tutoring is for grades 3-12 math and reading and science, writing composition, languages and study skills for high school students.
Tutors and consultants must demonstrate a capacity and academic competency to teach students content which has been difficult to learn in the classroom. Equally valued are specialized skills to teach high-achievers content which is beyond their current level of performance and students with learning disabilities.
Most important is the tutor's commitment to the academic development and achievement of each student assigned by our agency.
The educators' professional style should communicate to the learner, "it's OK to be smart."
